Some really good things have been happening lately. Tonight I just got another order from my Etsy shop. YAY! I was about to give up on Etsy, but now I’m inspired.
AND, my work will be featured in a juried group show this month at Gallery Z in Providence, R.I. I dropped my two paintings on Thursday. The gallery is located in a prominent spot in the very busy Federal Hill area. I’m again honored to have my work included at another great gallery. The opening reception is Thursday, April 19, from 5 to 9 p.m. If you live in the area, please come by. I would love to see you in person.
Happy New Year! What a great time to start off fresh with renewed energy to continue to push my business forward step by step. At the end of the year at a vendor event a lot of ideas came to me regarding improving my business, especially when I’m at a vendor fair. For example, I realized that I need more signage for my table so that I can strengthen my Creations by Coleman brand. So this year, I’m planning to get a banner and other signage created so people can start to recognize my logo and remember the name of the business. And, now that craft fair season is over for me for a bit, I’m planning to add a lot of items to my Etsy store, hoping that I’ll start to sell there. I haven’t sold anything on the site yet, but I don’t want to give up yet.
So here are my goals for the month of January, as part of my effort to check in more often with the artist business meetup group at Athena Dreams:
Investigate the cost of creating a banner and other table signage.
Add 10 items to Etsy shop.
Add size information and pricing on at least five works of art on my sandycoleman.com web site.
